Description
The Flying Screen is an innovative aerial LED display solution that combines drone swarm technology with high-definition LED display technology. By carrying a flexible LED screen into the air, it creates a large dynamic visual surface above urban spaces, event venues, commercial areas, and outdoor performances. This unique design breaks the limitations of traditional fixed displays while providing an eye-catching way to present videos, images, advertisements, and creative visual content.
High-Definition Aerial LED Display
The Flying Screen uses LED encapsulation options including 2020, 2528, 3030, and 3535, with an RGB+IC chip structure and static drive mode. Its refresh rate reaches 1920–3840 Hz, helping deliver smooth and stable visual performance for dynamic content and professional video playback.
The display supports multiple media formats, including videos and images. Compatible video formats include AVI, MP4, WMV, and MOV, while supported image formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, and BMP. Content can be managed through a phone, tablet, or computer, providing convenient control for different event applications.
Long-Lasting Power Battery
The Flying Screen is powered by a ternary lithium battery, with a standard capacity of 250 Wh per set. The modular battery configuration provides power for the LED display and aerial operation while maintaining a practical balance between operating endurance and overall payload.
Depending on operating conditions and takeoff weight, the standard hover time is approximately 40–60 minutes, while full-load hover time is approximately 20–30 minutes. Actual flight duration may vary according to battery capacity, payload, weather, and flight conditions.
Drone Flight Performance
The drone platform has an expanded size of approximately 3140 × 2980 × 802 mm and folds to approximately 1140 × 850 × 940 mm for transportation and storage. The total weight with battery is approximately 48.4 ± 0.5 kg, with a rated takeoff weight of approximately 98.4 ± 0.5 kg and a maximum takeoff weight of 103.4 ± 0.5 kg.
The Flying Screen is designed for controlled aerial display applications with a suggested height limit of 120 meters and a recommended speed limit of 3 m/s. Its maximum flight distance can reach approximately 1,500 meters, with a maximum pitch angle of 15°.
Designed for Outdoor Visual Events
The Flying Screen is suitable for outdoor advertising, concerts, festivals, sports events, brand launches, city promotions, night-time performances, and other large-scale visual presentations. By positioning the LED display above the audience, it creates a distinctive aerial viewing experience that conventional ground-mounted LED screens cannot easily achieve.
For safer operation and reliable performance, flight activities should be conducted according to applicable local aviation regulations, approved operating procedures, environmental conditions, and professional drone safety requirements.
Key Specifications
The Flying Screen supports a +5V DC LED drive voltage, Nova broadcasting control, 1920/3840 Hz refresh rates, and phone, tablet, or computer operation. Its combination of aerial mobility, high-definition LED imaging, modular battery power, and flexible content control provides a distinctive solution for creating large-scale visual experiences in the sky.
